The first meeting of the new season of the Genealogy Club of Newtown will take place at the C.H. Booth Memorial Library, 25 Main Street, Wednesday, September 9, at 7 pm, in the Meeting Room.

Guest speaker is Philip Hayes, “The Digital Genealogist,” speaking on “Evernote — Your Genealogy Research Assistant.” Light refreshments will be served. Those with questions or problems are encouraged to come at 6:45 pm for help from others in the club.  

The Genealogy Club of Newtown is open to all. Meetings take place on the second Wednesday of each month, September through June, starting promptly at 7 pm.

Mr Jessup and Ms Morgan are at the Genealogy Room on the main floor of the library, Monday afternoons, between 2 and 4:30 pm. The Genealogy Room is open during library hours, with a dedicated computer for family research.
