Accucom Consulting Wins Sunday League Title

Accucom Consulting won the Newtown Sunday Men’s Softball League championship by winning three times in the same day, this past Sunday. Accucom defeated the Cutters 11-7 then topped Porco Construction 17-16 to force a winner-take-all game in the double elimination tourney. Accucom won 7-4 in the rematch to successfully defend its 2008 title. Accucom was led by Carl Abrahamson (2 home runs and 9 RBI) and Tim LaPak (2 homes and 7 RBI).
