At Union Savings

DANBURY — Union Savings Bank (USB) President and CEO John C. Kline has announced the promotion of Newtown resident Paul Larsen to senior vice president, chief lending officer.

“Paul’s promotions are a reflection of his extensive experience, industry insight, and dedication to customer service,” said Mr Kline. “Union Savings Bank is fortunate to have such a seasoned lending professional.”

A seven-year employee of the bank, Mr Larsen has served as senior vice president and manager of the bank’s commercial lending department. In his new position as chief lending officer he oversees all lending activity for USB, including commercial real estate, commercial and industrial lending, small business and residential mortgage, and consumer lending departments.

Mr Larsen holds a bachelor of science degree from the Rochester Institute of Technology. The Treasury Management Association has certified him as a Treasury Professional. He also serves as chairman of the board of Literacy Volunteers of America’s Danbury affiliate and is a member of the finance committee at Danbury Hospital.
