The 13th Sunday after Pentecost will be celebrated at the 10:30 am service. On Sunday, September 7, at 9 am, the new Sunday School year will begin. Classes are offered for nursery age students through adults.  The “Our Life in Christ” curriculum is featured in the class instruction. Added to the morning schedule on Sunday will be a music time with Kelly Burger, a local music instructor. The Sunday School season continues throughout the year, concluding on the second Sunday in June.

As of Sunday, September 7, the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Danbury will resume holding two Sunday Services at 9 and 11 am. The new Minister, Rev Linda Hansen, and the director of religious education, Mary Collins, will lead the Annual Intergenerational Ingathering & Water Communion at that time; “bring water you have collected from home or travels this summer, we will pour it together as a way of symbolizing the many streams from which we come to form the strong pool of religious community.”  Child care for young children will be available during both services.
