Candee will be the guest on Wednesday, September 14. The program and meeting will begin at 7 pm at Newtown Senior Center, 8 Simpson Street.

Candee’s book, Gentle Healing for Baby and Child (Simon & Schuster), received The National Parenting Center’s Seal of Approval. Her DVD, The Healing Kitchen…Remedies from Nature’s Pharmacy, brings her acclaimed workshop to people to help them take charge of their health naturally with the use of foods and herbs in poultices, baths, teas and more.

The Town & Country Garden Club designs, plants and maintains Newtown’s three main traffic islands while participating in many other community, conservation, and environmental projects. New members are always welcome.
