The local nonprofit organization Love Mom XOXO hosted its Summer Lovin’ Wine Down at Aquila’s Nest Vineyards on Sunday, August 28.

It was a picturesque day with the sun shining down upon the attendees who came out to enjoy good company while supporting a cause close to their hearts.

Love Mom XOXO is a family bereavement organization that focuses on surviving parents and their children. It was founded by Lori Nespoli in honor of her sister Lynn (Nespoli) Lewis who died in December 2020.

The event got its name from Lynn’s favorite movie, Grease, and was inspired by her love of summertime and games.

Many people sat chatting with family and friends under the shade of picnic tables’ umbrellas. Those of age sipped on wine from Aquila’s Nest Vineyard.

There was also a variety of food as well as board games, lawn games, a silent auction, and raffles.

Proceeds went to Love Mom XOXO to help provide resources and support for surviving parents.
