To the Editor:

We want to thank all those that joined us in making our Newtown Forest Association 3rd Annual Sunset Wine Tasting event at our Holcombe Hill Nature Preserve a wonderful success. It was great to see neighbors, friends, volunteers, and our members come together and share good food and drink and smooth jazz with us in one of the most scenic spots in Newtown. A special thanks goes out to our sponsors and volunteers including: Aquarion Water Company, Holmes Fine Gardens, The Bottle Shop, Taunton Hill Wine & Liquor, Mark and the crew from My Place Restaurant, Associated Refuse, Planter's Choice Nursery, Hollandia Nurseries, artists who contributed to our silent auction, NFA board members, our caretaker, and all the volunteers who pitched in to make this a wonderful event. We had a full turnout of 250 people at this year's event, selling out for the third year in a row

On behalf of our board here at the Newtown Forest Association, I want to express how great it is to put on yet another event to welcome all those who attended and share with them a better understanding of who we are and what we do as Connecticut's oldest all-volunteer land trust.

Warm and Sunny Regards,

Bob Eckenrode
