Chamber Breakfast Talk On Building Legacy, Community

The Newtown Chamber of Commerce continues to host free monthly networking events open to all local business professionals.

The next event will be at Sal e Pepe Contemporary Italian Bistro on Wednesday, October 8, from 8 to 9 am.  The guest speaker is Amy Fallas-Kerr, co-president of Newtown Historical Society. 

Ms Kerr’s presentation is titled, “Why History Matters: Building Legacy and Community in Newtown.” It will include a discussion on how local businesses, organizations, entrepreneurs, and residents can build individual legacies and contribute to Newtown’s heritage.

Ms Kerr also works as the curatorial assistant for Gunn Memorial Museum in Washington.

Light refreshments will be served. This breakfast networking session is sponsored by the Newtown Chamber of Commerce. Programs are held on the second Wednesday of each month. 

There is no charge to attend this event and reservations are not necessary.
