The 28th State Senate District needs a representative who understands how state government works and can deliver results for our communities. Rob Blanchard is that candidate.

Rob has experience at every level needed for this position. He has worked in both the public and private sectors, served in local government, and held a leadership role on Fairfield’s Representative Town Meeting. He understands municipal budgets, education, land-use decisions, and the effect state policies have on local property taxes.

That experience matters. Bethel, Easton, Fairfield, and Newtown need a senator who can secure support for infrastructure, protect strong schools, and address the escalating costs of housing, healthcare, childcare, and utilities. Rob will arrive in Hartford knowing how decisions are made, who needs to be involved, and how to move practical solutions forward.

Rob is focused on making Connecticut a place where young families can establish roots, seniors can remain in their homes, and businesses can grow. He recognizes that affordability requires both fiscal discipline and thoughtful investments that reduce pressure on local taxpayers.

This position demands more than good intentions. It requires preparation, relationships, persistence, and the ability to act. Rob has demonstrated all four.
