I am writing in strong support of Amybeth Laroche, a candidate for State Senate, who represents the very best of our community. Families across our district are struggling with rising energy bills, increasing health care costs, and a state budget that continues to grow faster than household incomes. We need someone who understands these challenges firsthand. Amybeth is that person.

Amybeth is not a professional politician or bureaucrat. She is a working mother, a homeowner, and an active member of Newtown, raising her young daughter here. She knows what families, seniors, schools, and small businesses face because she lives those realities every day. Her service on the Board of Finance demonstrates her commitment to fiscal responsibility, accountability, and transparency — qualities we urgently need in Hartford.

In the private sector, Amybeth is measured by results. She understands compliance, responsible stewardship, and the importance of producing real outcomes. She brings intellect, thoughtful analysis, determination, and sound judgment to every challenge. These strengths make her exceptionally well suited for the Senate, where decisions must be grounded in real‑world experience.

Amybeth believes residents, not the state, should make decisions about their families and communities. She supports local control, opposes burdensome mandates, and recognizes how high taxes, high fees, and overspending strain household budgets. She evaluates legislation based on affordability, taxpayer impact, and whether it strengthens local governance.
