Patricia Frances McInerney

A Kind And Caring Life

Patricia Frances McInerney of Portsmouth, N.H., and Fairfield died August 27. She was the widow of Dr Thomas McInerney. Mrs McInerney was born on January 24, 1924, in Lynn, Mass., the eldest daughter of Ida and Edward Mason.

She is survived by six children, including Lucy of Newtown; five grandchildren; a sister; and many nieces and nephews.

Mrs McInerney loved to travel with her family. For many years she and her husband made numerous trips to England, Europe, and the Western United States.

Mrs McInerney was a lifelong lover of music. She sang in many choral groups and encouraged her children’s studies in violin, cello, and guitar.

She will be remembered for her kindness and caring toward others. She taught her children to treat all people, regardless of their life circumstances, with dignity and respect. For many years Mrs. McInerney was active in church and school activities.

Service and burial will be private.
