Lightning 17, New Fairfield 8 – Matthew St. Jean had five hits and knocked in six runs to lead the Lightning to the win. Stephen Brittin collected four hits, including a triple to ignite a rally. Michael Ziluck, Matthew Ingwersen, Owen Samson, Pete Clifford, Declan Sullivan and Michael Parker all had hits and scored runs to power the Lightning offense.

Lightning 15, Team Johnson 7 – Jamie Cochrane banged out four hits and Michael Parker crushed a three-run homer during a nine-run, fourth-inning rally to lead the Lightning to the win. Michael Ziluck got a key single to knock in two big runs and Matthew Ingwersen contributed a run scoring single. Pete Clifford and Trevor Palmer got singles and Patrick Berger walked three times and stole three bases.

Knights 5, Lightning 3 – Andrew Cragin doubled and singled and Dillon Palumbo had a key RBI single to lead the Knights to the win. Albert Dean pitched two great innings. Michael Parker and Zach Aumueller combined to pitch four strong innings for the Lightning in the loss to the Knights. Jamie Cochrane banged out two hits as Parker, Patrick Berger and Matthew St. Jean all singled.

Gladiators 12, Southbury 4 – Luke Rustici, Glen Damota and Alex Daignault each had two hits, two runs scored and two RBI to lead the Gladiator offense. Defensively, Paul Whitaker caught a fly ball and doubled up a runner at first to stifle a rally by Southbury. Daignault and Shawn McCarthy also played well in the field while Luke Rustici struck out six batters.

Gladiators 13, Middlebury 2 – Alex Klang had two hits, including a bases-clearing triple, and Matthew Hess collected two doubles to lead the Gladiator to victory. Defensively, Luke Rustici struck out five batters while Brian Kerins and Dylan Tyrrell each pitched a solid inning. Hess threw a runner out at third and tagged another runner out at home.
