The Newtown Youth Lacrosse Association will hold its annual 7-on-7 tournament on Saturday, October 6, at Treadwell Park.

There will be action in divisions from 5th/6th grade (Juniors), Super 7s, and 7th/8th grade (Seniors). Teams from Cheshire, Brookfield, Ridgefield, Guilford, Fairfield, Redding/Easton, New Fairfield, Brewster, Weston, Wilton, John Jay, and Amity/Woodbridge will be on the field.

Action will start at 8:30 am and go until 7 pm.

And on Monday (Columbus Day), the NYLA will hold its first 7-on-7 high school tournament … also at Treadwell. Varsity and junior varsity teams from Ridgefield, Weston, New Fairfield, Danbury, Amity, and Immaculate will participate.

Games will start at 9:30 am and go until about 3 pm.
