Guest Pastor This Weekend

At Connections Church

Howard Pittman, a former Baptist minister, will lead Connections Church’s service on Sunday, October 7, beginning at 10 am at Edmond Town Hall, 45 Main Street. He will also speak Tuesday and Wednesday, October 9 and 10, at 7 pm, at His Vineyard Christian Fellowship, 8 Grassy Plain Street in Bethel.

Mr Pittman will discuss what he learned in a near-death experience that befell him on an operating table on August 3, 1979.

“Angels lifted my spirit from my body and took me immediately to what I call the second heaven,” said Mr Pittman. “It was an entirely different world, filled with a vast number of evil spirits, demons, or fallen angels.”

Mr Pittman went on to say that each demon had an expertise in his one evil field.

“There are no ‘general practitioners’ among demons,” he said. “These demons do not love each other. There is no love in this second heaven.”

Next, Mr Pittman’s angels led him into what he calls the third heaven, a beautiful place, the place where God resides. He saw departed spirits, saints, on their way into heaven. The angels said he could speak to God but he could not go in unless he was ready to die, which he wasn’t. And God spoke to him. As good as Mr Pittman’s works for God were, God still chastised him, which is not to say he would not spend eternity in heaven with God.

“We are called to put God first at all times,” Mr Pittman said.

Mr Pittman has written a number of books, including Placebo. A placebo, he says, is a medication prescribed more for the mental relief of a patient than for the actual effect on a disorder.

“Too often Satan is the prescriber of placebos,” Mr Pittman asserted. “And these placebos lead us away from God.”

All are welcome. Call 203-405-3212 for additional information.
