Annual Blessing of the Animals, 9 am, St Rose of Lima (near stable), 38 Church Hill Road, all welcome, animals should be on leash or in cage for annual event celebrating the life of St Francis of Assist, patron saint of animals.

Blessing of the Animals: Celebration in Honor of St Francis of Assisi, 10 am, Trinity Episcopal Church playground, 36 Main Street, all animals (stuffed or live) and their owners welcome, all animals should be muzzled/leased, caged, etc, for their safety and the safety of others.

Car Wash, 10 am–2 pm, Berkshire Motors, 25 Berkshire Road, members of Newtown High School hockey team will wash cars in exchange for donations, proceeds to benefit team.
