It is with deep sorrow that the family of Catherine Bagmeyer Edwards, of Southbury, announces her peaceful death on October 2, at River Glen Care Center, Southbury. Cathy was born in Danbury on November 23, 1958, the daughter of Hendrick and Catharina Bagmeyer of Newtown.

Cathy was a graduate of Newtown High School, Class of 1977.

She worked in several establishments in the area including Robotics, Dade, and Siemens.

In additions to her parents, she leaves a sister, Tiny Bagmeyer, and her partner, Robert Norton, Jr; a nephew, Kris Green; a great-niece, Kallie Green; an uncle, Wiegart Bagmeyer, of the Netherlands; several cousins; and many good friends.

Friends may call at the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown, on Wednesday, October 14, 2020, from 6 to 8 pm.
