Card Party Open To Public

Newtown Woman’s Club invites the public to a big “deal” on Friday, October 13, from 12:30 to 3:30 pm when it presents The Fall Card Party at Christ The King Lutheran Church, 6 Tory Lane.

Friends and neighbors are welcome to bring their luckiest deck of cards, or their favorite board game, and join the members of the Woman’s Club for an afternoon of fun. Desserts, coffee, and beverages will be provided by the club, but bag lunches are encouraged.

Tickets are $5 per person and can be obtained by calling Marie Fodor at 426-2185 or Rosemary Zanfini at 270-7098. If transportation to the card party is an issue, a ride can be arranged by calling either Ms Fodor or Ms Zanfini.

“We’re looking forward to a good turnout and a lot of fun,” said Ms Fodor.
