Endorses Blanchard
To The Editor:
Regardless of party affiliation, residents should expect their state senator to be accessible, informed, and effective. After learning about Rob Blanchard’s experience and priorities, I believe he is well prepared to represent Connecticut’s 28th State Senate District.
Rob understands that good government is not measured by rhetoric, but rather by whether families can afford their homes, children receive a strong education, businesses can succeed, and communities obtain a fair return on the taxes their residents pay.
Rob’s public service includes state government experience and leadership on Fairfield’s Representative Town Meeting. That combination has given him insight into both sides of the state-local relationship. He understands how decisions in Hartford affect municipal budgets, property taxes, schools, roads, and essential services.
Rob’s focus on housing, healthcare, childcare, and overall affordability addresses concerns shared by residents across Newtown, Bethel, Easton, and Fairfield. He recognizes that progress requires listening to different viewpoints, building coalitions, and remaining accountable to the people he serves.
We need a senator who can move beyond partisan stalemate and concentrate on practical outcomes. Rob has the knowledge, energy, and collaborative approach to be that leader.
I encourage voters throughout the 28th District to elect Rob Blanchard to the Connecticut State Senate on November 3.
