Dozens of items will be offered during the Newtown Senior Center Pop-Up Craft Sale planned for Saturday, October 10. The special event will be in the lobby of Newtown Community Center, 8 Simpson Street, from 8 am until noon.

Items hand made by the NSC Creative Crafters will populate the sale, from quilted wall hangings, magic wands and fairy wreaths, purses and car seat organizers to aprons, painted signs, decorative items, potato bakers, knitted hats, homemade soap, and more.

Members of the group include Natalie DeFrancisci, Patty Ellul, Judy Giordano, Pat Hadad, Virginia Hettenbach, Adell Mastro, Gail Minnock, Candide Slinko, and Anna Wiedemann.

“While we were on quarantine, a lot of this was done," Minnock said this week. "It was a great way to spend our time.”
