Occupation: I am a diabetes business specialist for Boehringer-Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals. I have worked for BI for 22 years in three different states. I love what I do and working for such a great company.

Family: My husband, Rob, and I have been married 14 years. We met through friends and were sales colleagues before we started dating. We have two beautiful girls, Camryn, 11, and Kenley, 8.

Pets: We have an energetic, lovable puppy named Ginger we rescued this summer from Mississippi, and Sebastian, a very independent 3-year-old hermit crab.

How long have you lived in Newtown? We moved here from New Jersey five years ago for my husband’s job, also at Boehringer-Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals.

What do you like to do in your free time? I enjoy getting together with friends and family and taking the kids to do fun things. Since the pandemic, we have been having fun trying out the hiking trails and a new canoe on Lake Lillinonah.

What is your favorite travel destination? We go to the Nags Head, N.C., every year with family and friends. I love the huge beaches and it’s really fun taking all the kids ghost crabbing at night.

What is the best part about Newtown? Newtown is such a beautiful town. I love everything about it from the great restaurants, all the family activities, but most of all the amazing people we have met since moving here. It really is such a nice town.

What organizations are you part of in Newtown? My kids do the Torpedoes Swim Team and Newtown Soccer Club. I am a troop co-leader and Troop Cookie Mom of a Newtown Brownie Troop.

Who has been the greatest influence in your life? Having my daughters has made the biggest impact on my life. As crazy as life gets with work, school activities, and now virtual school, I wouldn’t change it for anything. It really is the best time of my life. Also, my mom was such a great example of a fun and loving mom growing up. She has been such an influence on how I am as a mom.

If you could spend the day with one person, who would you choose and why? I would do anything to have one more day with my father. He recently passed away during this pandemic and we hadn’t seen him due to social distancing. This experience reinforces how there’s never really enough time with the ones you love the most.

Who is your favorite musical artist? I like music from the ’70s and ’80s. Currently, I love listening to Yacht Rock. I’m part of a Facebook group that debates whether a song is Yacht or Nyacht. My favorite artist is Christopher Cross.

What is something you cannot live without? Can I say wine? Just kidding. My husband is my rock, and I feel so blessed with the life we have built together.
