To the Editor:

Thank you Newtown community for making our drive-thru food collection such a success. The hundreds of items that you donated are already on the shelves of the FAITH Food Pantry and are making a difference for families who need it the most.

We also received more than $500 in cash donations, which will help us purchase perishable items we supply on a weekly basis, such as meat, milk, butter, and eggs.

This year has been an incredibly challenging year for FAITH. We owe thanks to the entire Newtown community for making this food drive happen, and for your support throughout the year.

*Thank you to the many FAITH volunteers that collected and processed donations. Your unending commitment to this organization is what FAITH is all about.

*Thank you, Terry Ferris, for organizing our first, socially distant food drive.

*Thank you to the Knights of Columbus, specifically Guy and Ian, who helped us collect donations and kept our traffic flowing.

*Thank you to Eunice from Bagel Delight, for feeding all of our hungry workers.

*Lastly, thank you to The Newtown Bee, and to the Smith and Baggett families. We at FAITH cannot thank you enough for your continuing support.

We could not have done this without all of you. You make such a difference in our wonderful town.
