To the Editor:

Mitch Bolinsky has and will continue to support Newtown as a conscientious, hard working, and principled representative.

There are several key issues for Newtown voters to fully consider in this election for our state representatives. They include:

*Public health and safety measures for all residents.

*Quality education for every child.

*Sustainable solutions to reduce taxation.

*Reforms that support and attract businesses.

Mitch has a demonstrable record of taking action on all of these fundamental issues during his years of service. One example is his support of public education. He has returned increased education funding to Newtown schools each year, highlighted by restoring a $4.9 million cut in 2017 and ECS increases of $480,000 since 2018. A full review of his record on all these matters can be found on his website, including actions on tax burdens, public health, and business support.

These are the foundations for an innovative and fiscally responsible government to sustain and advance our town and help Connecticut regain its status as a premier state for its residents and businesses.
