Over 35 local crafters showcased fine jewelry, original photography, home decor, and other goods at the 21st annual Newtown United Methodist Church Craft Fair.

Held at Reed Intermediate School, the event showcased over 35 local crafters offering a wide variety of handmade goods. These ranged from fine jewelry, original photography, and hand-dipped candles to home and holiday decor, custom woodcrafts and pottery, and bespoke textile and paper arts. These folks were enjoying time at the popular baked goods table

The fair featured its ever-popular baked goods and cookie table, along with a silent auction where attendees bid on goods and gift cards donated by favorite local establishments.

The Fall Craft Fair is the church's largest annual community outreach event, with its proceeds supporting the church's mission, operations, and service programs. The event also helps support Families United in Newtown (FUN), a local support group for individuals with autism and their families.

Created in memory of Jones’s late son Tyler, FUN provides individuals with special needs, and their families, social opportunities in a caring environment through monthly themed meetings. The organization has long been a special guest at the NUMC Craft Fair.
People order food from the homemade treats at the baked goods and cookie table. Many guests noted it is one of the main reasons they attend the fall fair.
Gary and Christine Lindemann enjoyed time looking through the event’s many unique treasures.
