To The Editor:

State Representative Mitch Bolinsky couldn’t have been more Anti-Woman than when he voted against CT Public Act 23-41 (2023), a reproductive-healthcare law directed specifically at students living on residential campuses of Connecticut’s public colleges and universities. Governor Ned Lamont signed the law on June 13, 2023.

The law requires the Board of Regents for Higher Education and the UConn Board of Trustees to establish and update plans to ensure that students who live on residential campuses have access to reproductive health-care services from appropriately licensed health-care providers. Seems like a no-brainer, right? Nope, not for Mitch Bolinsky.

Democrats are for defending women, youth, and our most vulnerable. Perhaps Republicans should consider spending less time trying to defend Trump, billionaires and corporations, and more time supporting all of us.

Vote for Democrats on November 3rd.
