I will be a leader in this challenging time, not a follower or victim of failed state policy, over-taxation, and over-regulation of people and businesses. It’s time for a new pair of eyes and fresh look at what is going on here. Time to break up the good ol’ boy, rubber-stamp crowd. It’s time to make way for many of the fine, fresh, new candidates running from both local parties. I humbly ask for your vote for Legislative Council, District 1 on November 5th. I also hope you’ll consider my running mates, Cathy Reiss and Charlie Gardner. We’re Republican candidates, hoping to work for you. Find us on Line ‘B’, for a Better Newtown.

With pressure of the State budget crisis and the ever-expanding tax burden, it is important that our finances be managed responsibly. Therefore, it is my goal to ensure that residents of Newtown obtain the best value for their tax dollars. I will work with our community to support our needs while observing fiscal responsibility

If elected, how will you contribute towards making Newtown a better community for all?

I will continue to be a strong advocate for all Newtown families, supporting initiatives that improve our community and increase our home values. I started my public service to Newtown with a two-year term on the Edmond Town Hall Board of Managers in 2013, and I am just completing my four-year term with the Board of Education. My contributions have had both a macro (later school start times) and micro (more after-school activities to promote more student involvement) impact to Newtown. I take my leadership responsibility seriously, which means asking the tough questions, analyzing data to back up my position, and having an informed voice, even if it is in the minority. If elected, I will continue to support initiatives to make our town a great and safe place to live. This includes introducing and supporting projects to grow and adapt in our ever-changing world.
