Friday, October 26: 9:18 am, public service, 92 Church Hill Road, Sandy Hook responded; 11:37 am, medical assist, Edgelake Drive, Sandy Hook responded; 7:27 pm, alarm,16 Saw Mill Road, Hawleyville and Hook & Ladder responded.

Saturday, October 27: 12:23 pm, wires down, near 145 Head O’ Meadow Road, Hook & Ladder responded; 1:03 pm, initial report of a structure fire which was actually a heating-ventilation-air conditioning equipment problem, 174 Mount Pleasant Road, Hawleyville, Botsford, Sandy Hook, and Hook & Ladder responded; 5:34 pm, wires down, near 1 Pole Bridge Road, Sandy Hook responded; 6:46 pm, mutual aid call to Monroe, Botsford responded.

Wednesday, October 31: 12:33 pm, alarm, 315 South Main Street, Botsford and Hook & Ladder responded; 3:28 pm, alarm, 315 South Main Street, Botsford and Hook & Ladder responded; 6:03 pm, public service, Main Street flagpole, Hook & Ladder responded; 10:11 pm, alarm, 315 South Main Street, Botsford responded.

Volunteer firefighters from Hawleyville, Newtown Hook & Ladder, Sandy Hook, and Botsford were alerted of a light smoke condition inside Grace Family Church of Newtown at 174 Mt Pleasant Road in Hawleyville about 1:05 pm on October 27. Firefighters responded to the scene and checked the origin of the problem, which was a malfunctioning roof-mounted heating-ventilaton-air conditioning unit.
