Samantha Katherine Armstrong, age 22, died unexpectedly at her home in Hamden on October 17. She was born on February 28, 1999, in Newton, Mass. Samantha attended public schools in Newton, and began a career in marketing communications at Colliers International after graduating with bachelor’s degree from Emory University in 2020.

Samantha is survived by her parents, Jeffrey and Cheryl of Newton; younger sister, Katherine; best friend Ral Vandenhoudt of Hamden; grandparents, Al and Judy Ross of Vernon, Conn./Ogunquit, Maine, and Thomas Armstrong, Sr, of Newtown. She was also surrounded by the love of her uncles, aunts, cousins, extended family, and loyal friends.

Samantha was predeceased by her grandmother, Maureen Armstrong (Newtown) in December 2020.

A private memorial service was held on October 29 in South Windsor.
