Newtown High School’s girls’ soccer team will begin state playoff action with a visit to New Milford on Tuesday, November 4. The game, originally scheduled for 2 pm has been changed to 4 pm. Newtown is the No. 22 seed in the Class LL state tournament and New Milford is the No. 11 team in the bracket. The South-West Conference rivals played to a 1-1 tie during the regular season. New Milford, the No. 3 seed in the SWC tourney, went on to win the conference tournament title.
