Destination Newtown

Arrives November 9

The Chamber of Commerce invites the greater Newtown community to the seventh annual Destination Newtown, Tuesday, November 9 from 4 to 7 pm at the Newtown Congregational Church at 14 West Street.

Destination Newtown is a great opportunity for the community to meet local business owners and learn about the products and services that are locally available. Themed “Spotlighting Local Business,” the event is hosted by the Chamber of Commerce of Newtown and sponsored by Newtown Savings Bank.

There is no admission charge to attend.

The popular Taste of Newtown will feature delicious food samples from ten local restaurants: My Place Restaurant, Tambascio’s, The Meathouse, Masonicare at Newtown, One Eyed Pig, Sal e Pepe Restaurant, Carminuccio’s, Newtown Deli, Mona Lisa and Franco’s Pizza.

Along with visiting participating businesses, attendees can register for Amber Alert or get an annual flu shot. Additional highlights include entertainment from i95 Radio, the national anthem sung by Taylor Adam Varga, fun coloring activities, fire truck tours, great raffle prizes, Newtown Bucks Gift Certificates, and much more.
