James Richard Leach

A Generous Spirit

James Richard Leach, 59, resident of Priest River, Idaho, died at home, of natural causes, October 5.

Mr Leach was the youngest son of the late John and Ruth Leach of Newtown. He was born August 18, 1951, in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire, England, and grew up in Newtown. He was a graduate of Newtown High School, a Vietnam era veteran, and in recent years a disaster relief worker for FEMA.

He was a free and generous spirit who loved the outdoors and his many friends.

He is survived by a sister, Katherine Christiano of Cos Cob; and two brothers, John D. Leach of Charlestown, S.C. ,and Douglas M. Leach of Peoria, Ariz.

Sherman Knapp Funeral Home is arranging cremation.
