Ruth Ann Kelsey

Ruth Ann Kelsey, 74 of Daytona Beach, Fla., died November 4, following a short illness. She was the wife of the late Frederick H. Kelsey, Sr. She was born in Danbury, January 12, 1940, and was the daughter of the late Ruth (Walz) and Dwight Blackman.

Two brothers, Peter Blackman, and his wife Eileen, of Newtown and David Blackman, and his wife Bonnie, of Gaylordsville; two daughters, Susan Revell, and her husband George, of Danbury and Leslie Starr, and her longtime companion William Maher, of Litchfield; two stepsons, Mark Kelsey, and his wife Lisa, of Alaska and Frederick Kelsey, Jr, and his wife Marcy, of New Hampshire; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces survive Ms Kelsey.

She was employed with Kimberly Clark Corp for 20 years, until the time of her retirement. Ms Kelsey was a resident of Daytona Beach for the past 20 years. In Florida, she was a member of the Holly Hill Congregational Church, and was a member of the Eagles Club.

Funeral services will take place Friday, November 7, at 11 am, in the Brookfield Funeral Home, 786 Federal Road, Brookfield, with the Rev Michael Moran, pastor of the First Congregational Church of New Milford, officiating. Burial will be in the Central Cemetery, Brookfield.
