BLACKBERRY & BLUEBERRY, 3-week-olds were found in a ditch in the rain all alone with no sign of their mom. With tender loving care, they have begun to thrive. They’re both loving and playful, quick to purr and love children. Blackberry doesn’t have to be adopted with his sister, but if a prospective owner has room for two, they would be a great pair.

ANGEL lives up to her name by being affectionate and outgoing. Angel would like nothing more then to be petted or to play. A young mother, Angel was spared being euthanized at a kill shelter when volunteers stepped in to save her and her kittens. Now Angel needs you to make all her dreams come true! This pretty lady deserves a forever home. We hope you can help! She is spayed, healthy and current on vaccines.

Cassie and her three kittens were found in a bag in the dumpster behind a local shopping plaza. The kittens have been adopted but Cassie is available and is healthy, spayed and current on vaccines. 

BEARSY, CHICKY, JUJU BEE, LOLA, MONKEY, NUGGETT & TOODY: Bearsy, Chicky, JuJu Bee, Lola, Monkey, Nugget & Toody are among a group of kittens rescued by a caring family in Newtown. Little did the family know that the free-roaming stray cats they were feeding in their neighborhood early summer were pregnant until one day all the kittens showed up. The kittens are enjoying the transition from living outside to living in. While they try to find a hiding spot when meeting new people for the first time, they are very purry and sweet kitties. In caring, loving homes, these kittens will blossom. These cats range in age from 4-6 months old, are spayed/neutered, healthy and current on vaccines.

Adoption Event Saturday

The Animal Center invites all friends to visit them at their adoption event on Saturday, November 7 from 11 am to 2 pm at Your Health Pet, 224 South Main Street.

Our feline programs provide rescue, rehabilitation, spay/neuter, and adoption services for homeless cats and kittens in the community.

The Animal Center partners with other rescue groups as well as veterinary offices to save cats who might otherwise be euthanized. The Animal Center is a 501 (c)3 publicly-supported charity, helps approximately 250 cats a year, and relies heavily on the support of the public and generous volunteers.
