Beloved Mother And Grandmother

Elizabeth Ludanyi, 101, of New Fairfield, beloved wife of the late Antal Ludanyi, died at her home, November 1. Mrs Ludanyi was born in Petrozseny, Hungary, daughter of Vilma (Balazs) and Pal Prileszky.

She is survived by four children, including Paul Ludanyi of Newtown, nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews in Hungary. She was predeceased by her son, Antal Ludanyi, and a granddaughter.

Mrs Ludanyi attended school in Hungary and immigrated to the United States in 1949, where she had lived in Virginia, New York City, and Danbury, before moving to New Fairfield in 1981 to live with her daughter and family. She was a member of the American Hungarian Friends.

Cremation will take place at the direction of the family. There will be no calling hours. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Green Funeral Home, 57 Main Street, Danbury, is in charge of arrangements.
