Salon And Day Spa Supports Blue Star Mothers

BETHEL — A New Beginning, an Aveda Lifestyle Salon and Day Spa, is committed to supporting the Northern Fairfield County Blue Star Mothers. The Northern Fairfield County Blue Star Mothers CT Chapter 4 was formed in the summer of 2008, and comprises of mothers, stepmothers and adoptive /guardian mothers of members of the Armed Forces of the United States of America working to be of service to our nation.

The chapter is collecting donations for the Homes of the Brave service project called “Female Soldiers: Forgotten Heroes.” This project provides new transitional supportive housing programs for homeless female veterans.

On the Veterans’ Day, November 11, a New Beginning will donate 100 percent of the proceeds for the first 11 services booked to the local Blue Star Mothers chapter in honor of all veterans. In addition, a New Beginning will provide literature about the organization, and host the chapter’s Red, White & Blue Piggy Bank, for anyone wishing to make direct donations.
