Used Books Wanted For Upcoming Sale

EASTON — The Friends of the Easton Public Library will be collecting used books for the annual book sale from Saturday, November 7, until noon on Friday, November 13, in the library community room during library hours.

Hardcover and paperback books in all subjects are wanted. Children’s books, audio books, DVDs and CDs are also requested.

All books should be in good to excellent condition with no damaged covers, pencil markings or torn pages. No textbooks, condensed books or magazines will be accepted. The library is at 691 Morehouse Road, at the corner of Center Road.

The books will be used as inventory for the upcoming Friends of the Easton Public Library Annual Used Book Sale. The sale will run Friday, November 13, from 6 to 9 pm; Saturday, November 14, 9 am to 4 pm; and Sunday, November 15, 11 am to 4 pm.

A $10 admission will be charged for Friday evening, “Pick O’ the Prose Night.” Admission is free for the remainder of the weekend.

Most books will be priced at $1 to $3 each, although there will be some specially priced books. Fiction will be sorted by author; nonfiction will be sorted by category.
