Christ the King Lutheran Church offered a chance to browse many goods at its annual Fall Fair on November 9.

Roughly half an hour after the event began, coordinator Elizabeth Lowery said many people had already stopped by the church. There were more than 50 vendors this year.

“It’s going really, really well,” Ms Lowery said, between helping vendors and shoppers alike. “Early birds were waiting at the door, and it’s been busy, which is wonderful.”

Comfort Dog Maggie, of Lutheran Church Charities through Christ the King Lutheran Church, greeted many near the entrance to the event. Vendors were situated throughout the church, and a handful of tables were outside.

Hawleyville Volunteer Fire & Rescue engineer and Deputy Fire Marshal Jami Zapata and quartermaster Miles Ball stood near the fire company’s ladder truck, ready to show visiting children the truck.

Vendors sold handmade crafts, food, tag sale items, and more.

During at least part of the Fall Fair, music and entertainment was provided by brothers Elijah Lowery, who played piano, and Isaiah Morris, who danced along nearby.
