The Newtown Middle School field hockey team had quite the fall season, posting an 11-0 record and outscoring opponents 68-8 along the way.

Newtown’s roster comprises Amiah Anderson, Ava McCann, B.B. Diorio, Cece Wasley, Charlotte Grasso, Claire Campbell, Ella Murphy, Emma Hettenbach, Eshal Jarrar, Evelynn Schoen, Hailey Bento, Iris Brown, Jocelyn Schwartz, Kaylin Pimentel, Lia Battaglia, Lucy Diorio, Lyla Bshara, Maggie Murphy, Makenzie Fregoe, Riley Lovett, and Stella Wasley.

The top scorers were Jocelyn Schwartz with 24, Evelynn Schoen with ten, B.B. Diorio with eight, Kaylin Pimentel scoring seven, Hailey Bento depositing six, and Charlotte Grasso with five. Schwartz led with 20 assists, Grasso set up 16 goals, Bshara had 15 assists, and Schoen nine. Wasley had six shutouts protecting the goal.
