Grace E.         Monaghan

Grace E. (Field) Monaghan, 87, of Boynton Beach, Fla., and formerly of Ossining, N.Y., died at Danbury Hospital on November 17.

Grace was born in New York City on February 21, 1917, daughter of the late Charles and Gretchen (Stahl) Field. She had worked for IBM in Yorktown Heights and Boca Raton, Fla., for many years before retiring.

Grace is survived by her daughter, Sally Park of Newtown; her son, Michael Field St George of Danbury; her four grandchildren, Charles W. Parker and his wife Debbie of Newtown, Sally Ann Nichols and her husband David of Malibu, Calif., Michael J. St George of New York City, and Kenneth S. St George of Peekskill, N.Y.; two great-grandsons, Dillon Charles Parker of Newtown and Alexander Park Nichols of Malibu, Calif.; a brother, Robert Marshall Field, his wife Anna Lee and their three children of Anniston, Ala.; and her sister, Julie Edmondson of Midlothian, Va.

Friends may call at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main Street, Danbury, on Saturday from 2 to 5 pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association, 45 Ash Street, East Hartford CT 06108.

Green Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
