Friends of the C.H. Booth Library (Friends) volunteers have been working dutifully for the upcoming Holiday Gift Sale, set to take place in the library’s Meeting Room on Saturday, December 7, from 9:30 am to 5 pm, and Sunday, December 8, from 11 am to 5 pm.

Marge Gingolaski, who runs the annual Holiday Gift Sale, says the group has been collecting donations year-round and storing items in preparation for the big weekend event.

Friends Publicity Chair Kathryn Hanson noted that this year there will be a large assortment of games for all ages, including everything from Monopoly and Clue to dominos and backgammon.

Shoppers can look forward to a selection of DVDs, CDs, new puzzles, and books of all genres.

Children’s books will be categorized by reading level; there will be books on gardening and art; and cookbooks that are sure to give inspiration for meals this holiday season.

To combat the wintertime chill in the air, there will even be handmade quilts and baby blankets available at the Holiday Gift Sale.

On top of the many physical gift items, those looking to support local this season can also check out the gift cards donated from businesses in town. Whether indulging with your own spa massage or treating the family to Edmond Town Hall movie tickets, there will be gift card options for all.
