Newtown Historical Society will be holding its Holiday Open House in conjunction with the Newtown Holiday Festival on Sunday, December 3, from noon until 4 pm.

The historic building at 44 Main Street, which serves as headquarters for the historical society, will be dressed in timeless holiday décor. Visitors will be invited to sit by the fire and enjoy a cup of warm cider sponsored by Newtown Youth & Family Services (NYFS).

Admission is free. A ticket for the Holiday Festival, a major fundraiser for NYFS is not required. Donations will be gratefully accepted and used toward the continued upkeep of the historic house museum.

Immediately following the Open House, all historical society members and volunteers are invited to the annual NHS Holiday Party.
