Clavette To Speak At IMA Meeting

DANBURY — The Institute of Management Accountants will hold a breakfast, followed by a board of directors meeting, at the Sit Down Diner on Route 6 in Danbury on Tuesday, December 12, beginning with registration and networking at 7:20 am.

Alan J. Clavette, a certified public accountant and owner of AJ Clavette, CPAs, in Newtown, will be the guest speaker. A frequent speaker on federal and state taxation, estate planning, and small business issues, he will provide a tax update.

There will be a luncheon meeting at the Stoney Hill Inn on Tuesday, Sept. 19, beginning with registration and social time at 11:15 am.

The breakfast is $12, payable at the door, for members and guests. Students are always half price. Breakfast will begin at 7:40 am, with the program at 8 am.
