Robin G. Sprung, 40, of Newtown, died unexpectedly on November 30, at her home. She was born in Bridgeport on March 17, 1970, a daughter of Roger Sprung of Newtown and Joan (Sherman) Sprung of Southbury.

Ms Sprung was a lifelong resident of Newtown. She attended Newtown schools and was a 1988 graduate of Newtown High School, where she was a member of the choral groups.

She was a graduate of Boston University, with a degree in education, with specialization in deaf studies. Ms Sprung was a graphic designer.

She will be remembered as a warm, caring person, who would go out of her way to help others, and for her wonderful singing voice.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by a sister, Andrea Sachs of Los Angeles. A brother, Martin Sachs, predeceased her.

She leaves behind four Siamese rescue cats.

A private memorial service will take place at the convenience of the family.

Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street in Newtown, is assisting the family.
