St Rose Church Live Nativity On December 15; Participants Invited

Once a year, the stable on the ground of St Rose of Lima parish, 46 Church Hill Road, comes alive in the tradition started by St Francis of Assisi. Shepherds, angels, wise men, and live animals greet the weary travelers Mary and Joseph as they reenact the evening of Jesus’s coming more than 2,000 years ago.

This year’s reenactment is scheduled for Saturday, December 15. It will be begin immediately after the 5:30 pm Mass.

Snow date will be Sunday, November 16, following the noon Mass.

Refreshments will follow.

Children & Singers Sought

Children ages 6 and older are invited to participate in the Nativity presentation. Singers are also needed.

There is one rehearsal on Saturday, December 8.
