Mr And Mrs Jeffrey Tobias Robke

Shannon Eileen Browne and Jeffrey Tobias Robke were joined in marriage on September 2 at Resurrection Lutheran Church in Cary, N.C., with The Rev Dr Gregory J. Wismar of Christ the King Lutheran Church, Newtown, officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Mr and Mrs Charles B. Browne, III, of Newtown. The groom is the son of Mr and Mrs Leonard F. Robke of Cary, N.C.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

She wore a gown of organza over satin and re-embroidered lace designed by Mori Lee. The wide, scoop neckline was detailed with seed pearls. The re-embroidered lace covering the bodice floated onto the unbroken controlled skirt. Re-embroidered appliques adorned the skirt. The hemline had a re-embroidered lace edging that continued around the chapel-length train. The back of the dress was completed with a deep v-back edged with satin bugle beads. The full-shirred back was completed with miniature satin roses with crystals.

The matron of honor was Susan M. Naylor of York, Penn., sister of the groom.

The bridesmaids were Christine M. Robke of Apex, N.C., sister of the groom, and Vanessa L. Cazas of Arcadia, Calif., cousin of the bride. Ms Erika Wilson of Newtown presented the scripture reading.

The best man was Timothy S. Naylor of York, Penn., brother-in-law of the groom.

The groomsman was Charles B. Browne, IV, of Newtown, brother of the bride.

The Rev David E. Fitzgerald, SA, of St Andrew the Apostle Roman Catholic Church of Apex, N.C., gave the blessing.

The bride graduated from the University of Connecticut and is an assistant manager for Enterprise Rent-A-Car in Cary, N.C.

 The groom graduated from the University of Connecticut and is a software engineer for Tivoli Systems, Inc., Research Triangle Park, N.C.

After a honeymoon in Italy, the couple is residing in Raleigh, N.C.
