Lisa T.        Courchene-Roy

Lisa T. Courchene-Roy, 41, beloved wife of Robert Courchene-Roy, of Newtown and formerly of Trumbull, died November 28 at her home after a courageous battle with cancer.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by her beloved sons, Matthew and Jake, and her beloved daughter, Vanessa, all of Newtown. She will be deeply missed by her sister, Michele Courchene Trackman of Philadelphia, Penn.; and brother, Alan Courchene of Sedona, Ariz.; her mother and father-in-law, Mr and Mrs Raymond Roy of Northboro, Mass.; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Zachery.

Mrs Courchene-Roy was born in Stamford, November 10, 1962, a daughter of Ernest E. and Pearl (Petrin) Courchene of Singer Island, Fla. She was a graduate of the Wooster School in Danbury and received a BS from Babson College in Wellesley, Mass.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated December 2 in St Rose of Lima Church, Newtown. Interment followed in St Rose Cemetery.
