Family Day Activities Set For December 13

DANBURY — Ann’s Place, The Home of I Can invites the public to attend the agency’s Family Day on Saturday, December 13, from 9 am to 12:30 pm.  The entire family is invited to enjoy a fun program together with other families living with cancer. 

There will be family art projects, family yoga, and a separate time for adults and children. Pizza will be served. 

Ann’s Place provides support services to people living with cancer, as well as their loved ones, currently serving nearly 600 clients per month. Services include individual and family counseling, more than 20 support groups for people with various cancer diagnoses and at various stages of treatment, and a variety of wellness programs including yoga, reiki, writing workshops, art therapy, and guided imagery.

This event is free, but space is limited and registration is suggested. Partial funding by the Danbury Cultural Commission.
