Town workers were swiftly placing luminaria along Main Street late Friday morning, in anticipation of this evening’s Silent Stroll at Ram Pasture.

Luminaria traditionally line Main Street and side streets, as well as the perimeter of Hawley Pond, on the first night that the trees in Ram Pasture are lit for the holidays. That would have been Friday, December 4, but due to heavy rains that day, the placement of luminaria was postponed to December 11.

Residents are invited to enjoy the luminaria and trees during a Silent Stroll, from dusk until 10 pm tonight. Physical distancing and wearing masks are requested.
