Nurse Practitioner Nancy Rhodes led this month’s Memory Café, a monthly offering hosted by C.H. Booth Library, last Monday afternoon.

Guests this month were invited to rotate among three tables, where they could decorate small grapevine wreaths premade by Rhodes, color small stones with paint and/or glitter, and decorate Mason jars.

The program is for individuals living with memory challenge and their caregivers. It is presented on the second Monday each month.

The next Memory Café is scheduled for January 9 in the lower meeting room of the library, 25 Main Street. Sandy Hook resident and Licensed Professional Counselor Bob Schmidt will lead the program, called “Music and The Memory.” Schmidt and his wife Josie also perform regularly as the acoustic duo Solid Gold Times Two.

There is no charge to attend Memory Café programs, but registration is required. Contact the library at 203-426-4533 or visit chboothlibrary.org to register or obtain additional information.
