Margurette Mohigel Khoury, of Bridgeport, loving wife of 68 years to George Mohajjal (Mohigel), died peacefully December 12. Born in Soudeie, Syria, she was the daughter of the late Moussa and Meryana Foursa Khoury.

Survivors in addition to her devoted husband are her two sons, Tony Mohigel and his wife, Reem, of Newtown and Michael Mohigel of Bridgeport; her daughters Claudia Mohigel Daow of Lebanon and Micheline Mohigel Saade of Syria; two sisters Georgette and Adele Khoury, both of Lebanon; eleven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

A resident of Bridgeport for 25 years, she was an active member of St Nicholas Syrian Orthodox Church and its Ladies Auxiliary.

The Rite of Burial will be held on Monday, December 17, at noon, at St Nicholas Antiochian Orthodox Church, 5458 Park Avenue, Bridgeport, with the Archpriest Father Romanos Malouf officiating, followed by interment in St John Cemetery, 500 Moose Hill Road, Monroe.

Calling hours will take place Monday morning from 10:30 am until time of service in the church.
