A Legislative Listening Session with State Representative Mitch Bolinsky scheduled for December 19 has been canceled.

The session was to be the second in a series of three that had been announced by Rep Bolinsky last month. It now conflicts with three town board meetings the state representative has been invited to speak at that evening.

“I apologize for the late notice of the postponement, but I was asked today to provide legislative insights at Wednesday’s meeting of Newtown’s Legislative Council, Board of Education, and Board of Finance planning session,” Mr Bolinsky said via email blast that was sent out Monday, December 17.

The final Legislative Listening Session is scheduled for Monday, January 7. It will be conducted in the meeting room of C.H. Booth Library, 25 Main Street, from 6 to 7:30 pm.

Rep Bolinsky invites constituents with questions about the change of plans, or who would like to speak with him "regarding any other matter of our state government" to contact him. State Rep Bolinsky can be reached at 800-842-1423 (toll-free) or 860-240-8700 or via e-mail at mitch.bolinsky@housegop.ct.gov.
